The Pump has been fixed so as to make water available in between now and March 2018.

Come April 2018, the last part of the contract which is the Sinking of the inner Casings will then be done to enable the Water Well to provide enough water during the Dry Season.

Alimamy Joins our Team

Alimamy Samura has taken the role of Project Supervisor in Sierra Leone. He will make sure our schools and other projects are well maintained and he will supervise future projects. We have supplied a motorcycle and pay him a fee which is very modest by our standards. He has worked with the Chief Executive before and he can vouch for his enthusiasm and ability.

Liam's Walk, A Huge Success !

The sun beamed down on hundreds of our friends, sponsors and supporters who completed a sponsored walk in memory of Liam Manley that took place in Blarney on Saturday 8th of April. Hundreds of people trekked Clogheenmilcon walk to honour the memory of Liam Manley who died just over a year ago whilst his wife Jackie was in Sierra Leone, with other family members, to officially open a school they had raised funds to build and equip. All funds raised on the walk on Saturday are going directly towards our upcoming projects in Sierra Leone. We would like to extend a heartfelt "Thank You" to Jackie, her daughters Ellen, Katherine, Maud and Nancy who together made this day happen, and of course, made it so special.
